SQA Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering

Description

The SQA Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering provides learners with a range of knowledge and contemporary vocational skills utilizing modern equipment and techniques and prepares them for employment as senior engineering technicians in the civil engineering industry with a range of employers. It allows learners to concentrate and develop in several areas including structural engineering, construction project management, construction technology, geotechnical engineering, hydraulic engineering, transportation engineering and highway engineering.

The SQA Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering provides progression routes to further study including towards bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. It also enables learners to achieve appropriate professional body recognition.

Entry Requirements

  • Age should be minimum of 16 years AND
  • A/L with 2 passes + Credit Pass for English in O/L or Any other English Language qualifications recognized by Northshore OR
  • O/L with 6 passes + Credit Pass for English in O/L or Any other English Language qualifications recognized by Northshore + Foundation Programme in Civil Engineering offered by Northshore or Relevant Foundation/Diploma Programmes conducted by any other recognized institutions

Duration

  • Full-Time – 18 Months
  • Part-Time – Weekends – 24 Months
